Can’t stress enough about not having any type of income, life insurance! It doesn’t make life easier but it sure does put you at ease whilst playing amateur/semi pro and professional rugby. Especially when it isn’t your sole income! I can definitely say that on the field this year I was able to put my best foot forward and play some good footy not worrying if I was going to get injured or hurt. Unfortunately I did get hurt and suffered a lacerated kidney putting me out for work for a while, but lucky I had income protection and all the benefits with it from the help of Protect Life Trisha and the team have been so awesome and they followed through with everything!

Trisha Diehm

Principal Financial Adviser

Trisha is the founder and Principal Financial Adviser of Protect Life, bringing a decade of experience in financial advice and a strong focus on personal insurance, superannuation and financial protection strategies.

She established Protect Life with the belief that quality financial advice should be accessible to everyday Australians—not reserved for those with substantial wealth. Trisha works closely with individuals, families and business owners to understand what matters most to them and develop practical strategies that protect their income, lifestyle and financial future.

Known for her straightforward and personal approach, Trisha makes complex financial matters easier to understand. She supports clients throughout the entire advice journey, from selecting and implementing appropriate strategies through to policy reviews and insurance claims when circumstances become difficult.

Trisha holds a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning and has provided financial advice since 2016.

Luke Marshall

Certified Financial Planner®

Luke is an experienced Certified Financial Planner® who specialises in helping individuals, families, professionals and business owners make informed financial decisions and build greater long-term security.

His advice experience covers superannuation, retirement planning, personal insurance, investments, self-managed superannuation funds, business protection and estate planning. Luke takes a goals-based approach, beginning with a clear understanding of each client’s circumstances, priorities and aspirations before developing a structured and tailored financial strategy.

Luke is particularly experienced in assisting clients with complex financial circumstances and coordinating the different elements of their financial lives. He is known for explaining complex issues clearly and providing disciplined, practical advice that clients can confidently act upon.

Luke holds postgraduate qualifications in applied finance and financial planning and has provided financial advice since 2017.

Alisha Haines

Client Manager

Alisha is a Client Manager at Protect Life and plays an important role in supporting clients throughout the advice and implementation process.

Working closely with Protect Life’s advisers, insurers, superannuation funds and service providers, Alisha helps coordinate applications, documentation, policy administration and ongoing client requests. Her organised and responsive approach helps ensure each stage of the process is managed efficiently and that clients remain informed along the way.

Alisha understands that financial advice and insurance paperwork can sometimes feel complicated or overwhelming. She is committed to making the experience as straightforward as possible and ensuring clients receive attentive, personal support whenever they need assistance.

Through her focus on communication, accuracy and client service, Alisha helps deliver the dependable and personal experience that sits at the centre of Protect Life’s approach.
